The Three Locals in Fairfield is bright and airy with a modern feel in the heart of the village.

I stopped by the village shops of Fairfield this morning, I was looking for a nice quiet café with Wi-Fi so I could get some work done. I found the Three Locals in Station street Fairfield. Ideally located in the heart of the village shops and no more that 200m from the local train station, this café was not only quiet it was open, spacious and airy. The internal décor has a modern feel and towards the back of the café is a hidden away private function area.

There is a large mural at the front of the shop of the local area (old Melways map). So if you aren't a local you can spend a few minutes looking up some of the many interesting attractions in the area, such as the nearby Fairfield Park Boathouse & Tea Gardens.

The staff were very bubbly and friendly and definitely up for a chat which was nice. The latte had a mellow flavour profile with a hint of tobacco afternote that dissipates to a very pleasant mouth feel. They use a café specific blend consisting of beans from Kenya, Vietnam and Uganda.
