Located in the historic township of Maldon is Café Maldon.
This historic little township is located about 1.5 hrs north of Melbourne and boast a number of cafés, antiques stores, heritage sites and unique and interesting things. This afternoon I caught the steam train with my nephew from Castlemaine to Maldon operated by the Victorian Goldfields Railway.
The latte was served along with a Lindt Chocolate, it was rich and bold and very pleasant. My nephew always enjoys a babycino and this one did not disappoint, even served with hundreds and thousands (and marshmallows which were gone before the photo could be taken).
The café has both indoor and outdoor seating and was very comfortable to spend sometime in. For the kids they also provide colouring sheets and pencils. Overall, a very pleasant experience and one to do again.
